Kampite Trench Cooker

Post  Admin on Mon Sep 29, 2008 1:17 am

I was lucky enough to find this a couple of years ago. I have since come across the advertisement for the Bryant and May's Trench Cooker in a 1916 magazine and a 1918 dated officer's manual. This is not, strictly speaking an officer's only item, but could be bought by anyone.

Just noticed that Imperial War Museum has one in its collections. Gives a good view of fuel blocks and stand, as well as some dimensions
